Meeting called to order by Craig after shoot.
October 22 minutes were read by Dan and approved by board.
Craig: After thinking about the discussion at our last meeting he came to the conclusion that instead of trying to recruit new shooters at this time, we should try to get more of the members we already have to come out and shoot. To try and accomplish this he will e-mail all of our members every time a shoot is scheduled. This weekend Rio Salado had their shoot in conflict with ours. He will contact the other clubs to try and not let this happen again.
David: To get possible new shooters involved in sporting clays he has an introduction to sporting clays scheduled for Dec. 10. A story will be printed in the local paper about this event. The cost will be $20.00, this will include, gun, shells and 50 targets. $5.00 will be donated to Ronald McDonald House out of every fee. The board and members are asked to help put this on. David will print flyers, Craig said he would make sure they are distributed.
Financial Report: Dan: At this time we have a balance of $81.00, collected from target fees at Ben Avery.
Chip: Our web sight is up and running. The cost is $49.00 a year which was paid by Chip. Dan Beal had volunteered to pay for the first year, maybe he can do something else for us. E-mail addresses for board members to be listed as first name of board member @ azsportingclays. com. Motion to be accepted by Dan seconded by Craig. Motion carried.
Craig: Has accounting software been purchased? Dan: Not at this time due to lack of funds.
David: In order to give even a little bit back to the shooters, should we consider buying snack trays to be put out after each shoot? In order to finance this it was suggested we raffle off a round of sporting clays for a $2.00 donation. The round to be provided at cost by each club, paid out of the $2.00 donation and any extra funds to go to ASCA. A motion to do this was made by Dan, seconded by Craig. Motion carried.
Tim made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Craig. Motion carried.
