Craig called the meeting to order after the shoot.

Craig:  Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.

General discussion took place regarding state shoot and side games benefiting the Scholastic Clay Target Program.  Tim will have two side games at the state shoot, Smokeballin' and Sidewalk Doubles.

There will be three major events in Arizona for the 2008 shooting year, that we are aware of at this point in time.  All are at Coyote Springs Sporting Clays.  Tim proposed shoot dates for these event.  These are the Arizona Open (January 4-6), the Zone7 Championship (May 1-4), and the Arizona State Championship (October 2-5).

Craig made a motion to approve these shoot dates, second Chris Stadler, motion carried.

Carl spoke of the membership meeting at the 2007 State Shoot.  We need to make nominations available for the Board of Directors.  There was some discussion regarding the "term-limits" for certain board members and the state target fee.  Term-limits can be achieved by the membership vote.  If a board member is effective, it seems a waste to remove them from the board simply because they have served a certain number of terms.  Additionally, discussion was held regarding the state target fee.  An increase in the state target fee from 1 cent per target to 2 cents would bring Arizona in line with the majority of other states.  This would also serve to generate income we could apply towards the 2008 state shoot, possibly in the form of a banquet.  Chris Stadler made a motion to bring two amendments to the by-laws before the membership, (1) to eliminate the term-limits; and (2) increase the state target fee from 1 cent per target to 2 cents, second Carl, motion carried.

There was discussion regarding the "shoot program" to be included in the shooter's bags at the 2007 State Championship.  Chris Stadler will prepare a "shoot" program to include the following:
Friday evening prelim shoot-off at approximately 5:30.
Saturday evening "Top 8 Shoot-Off" for the Smokeballin' side game at approximately 5:30.
Door prizes and auctions in the Cafe/Lounge immediately following the "Top 8 shoot-Off"
ASCA Membership Meeting immediately following the Door prizes and auctions.
Sunday awards banquet at approximately 5:30.
The shoot program will be included in each shooter's bag.

Craig made a motion to reimburse for printing expenses relating to shooter's bag materials, second Carl, motion carried.

Motion to adjourn Carl , second Chris Parsons, motion carried.
