Craig called the meeting to order after the shoot.

Craig:  Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.

Dan:  We are trying to raise money for tower at Ben Avery. At the present time AZ Game & Fish doesn't have enough money available to buy a tower. They have $5,000 to put towards one, could we ask for donations from our membership to help purchase? A long discussion followed. Decided to send out e-mail asking for help with different levels of sponsorship.  Bronze $10.00 -$249.00  Silver $250- $499  Gold $500 - $999 Platinum $$100 - $2499  Diamond $ 2500 and up.

Motion Dan ,Second Carl , motion carried.

Terry: What can we do to get more young shooters to participate?  Can we lower the cost to enter?  According to the NSCA roles everyone pays the same, no reduced fees.

Dan: How about taking out the mandatory purse? Should we poll our members and see what they want to do?  Craig will send out an e-mail and collect data.

John:  Asked about possibly moving the 2009 State Shoot to Ben Avery.  After a brief discussion it was determined that it would be inappropriate to consider moving the State Shoot without just cause. The State Shoot has been awarded to Coyote Springs and it will remain there. Any member club wishing to host the 2010 State Shoot can present a bid to the Board at the appropriate time.

Motion to adjourn Dave ,second Carl, motion carried.
