Chris Stadler called the meeting to order after the shoot.

Chris Stadler:  Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.

Sally:  Brief summary of finances.

All:  General discussions were held regarding the 2010 State Championship per target cost, trappers, and referees.  BACTC will provide the FITASC Referees.  The ASCA will provide trappers for all other events.

All:  General discussions were held regarding the 2010 State Championship event prices, back-to-class money and trophies.  General consensus was reached and will be reflected on the State Championship web page.

All:  General discussions were held regarding the 2010 State Championship Saturday evening dinner.  There will be a dinner, specifics will be decided in the future,  The warehouse will serve as the location for the event and it will be a catered dinner.

All:  General discussions were held regarding the 2010 State Championship golf cart rentals.  Chris Stadler will follow-up with our likely vendors to price and reserve 4-seat carts if available.

All:  General discussions were held regarding the 2010 State Championship trophies.  Sally brought brochures on some glassware and some sandstone samples.  Scott will be visiting one of the local trophy vendors this coming week.  We will have specific trophy discussions at the next meeting to be held after the Harris' Hawk Open on May 22 at Ben Avery Clay Target Center.

All:  General discussions were held regarding the 2010 State Championship sponsorship program.  Consensus was reached and will be reflected on the State Championship web page.  Iron City Polaris has already acted and will be sponsoring the 5-Stand events and setting up their display in front of the clubhouse and 5-Stand fields.

Chris Stadler:  Trevor Coleman reached out to a group of SCTP parents and shooters via e-mail, tremendously enhancing the youth turnout for today's shoot.  This, combined with the history of scheduling conflicts between SCTP and ASCA shoots, demonstrates the need for a liaison between the ASCA and the SCTP.  Volunteers were solicited for this position.  Chris Parsons volunteered to perform these duties.

Chris Stadler:  Joe Kennedy of the California Sporting Clays Association and the NSCA Executive Council, issues a challenge to the state associations.  This is in an effort to raise funds to help defray the costs of international competition for TeamUSA members when they travel to the World Sporting and World FITASC championships, as the costs are entirely the burden of the shooters.  Discussion took place and a vote was held.  It was decided that the ASCA will not spend funds, generated from target fees or shoots, that could be used to promote the sport within the state, as this is our primary charter.  It was further decided that fund-raising actions will be allowed to take place via auction or specific event, provided it is promoted with the stated purpose of raising money for TeamUSA.

Motion to adjourn Buck.  Second Dan.  Motion carried.
