Q: What are your favorite things about
shooting Sporting Clays?
A: The people you get to hang out with, get
to know, and share a few laughs with.
Webmaster Commentary:
Read on to see what Blake means by a few laughs!
Q: What is your favorite shooting venue?
A: Ben Avery Clay Target Center.
Q: What has been your favorite shoot/event?
A: None. I haven't won yet.
Webmaster Commentary:
Of course this was submitted before Blake took a few D2's and D1 at the
Croder de Lompio Classic's Coyote 50 on Sunday, which nabbed him his first
punch! So I'd bet we can safely assume that Blake is a huge fan of the
Coyote 50!
Q: What is your favorite target presentation?
A: Anything I break!
Q: What is your least favorite target
presentation?
A: Anything I miss!
Q: What do you feel is your greatest challenge in
Sporting?
A: Keeping both eyes open has been
challenging at times.
Q: What do you feel is your biggest
accomplishment with regards to Sporting Clays?
A: I have not finished dead last in any of
the shoots I've participated in!
Q: What, if any, are your Sporting Clays goals?
A: I would like to get good enough to
participate in and finish respectively in the US Open.
Q: Do you shoot sub-gauge events?
A: No.
Q: What is the one "gizmo" you find
most useful when shooting?
A: My shell bag.
Webmaster Commentary:
It is a very hi-tech shell bag, really.
Q: What advice would you give to someone just
starting out?
A: Keep that gun moving and keep both eyes on
the target.
Q: Anything else we should know?
A: Don't eat yellow snow.
Webmaster's commentary:
I'm glad Blake took the time to submit his questionnaire and pose for a
couple of pictures. Help keep the Featured Shooter feature going by filling out the "Shooter
Questionnaire."
