Q:  What are  your favorite things about shooting Sporting Clays?
A:  The variety of targets we get to shoot.  It's a real change from trap.

Q:  What is your favorite target presentation?
A:  I don't have a favorite.  You throw them, I'll shoot them.

Q:  What do you feel is your greatest challenge in Sporting?
A:  Learning to shoot crossing birds, especially long crossers.  And dropping targets.  And rabbits.  I guess I have a lot of challenges.

Q:  What do you feel is your biggest accomplishment with regards to Sporting Clays?
A:  I only have one accomplishment so far.   got lucky at the state shoot and won C class by one target.

Q:  What, if any, are your Sporting Clays goals?
A:  To develop my mental game.  I lose a lot of targets because of mental errors and lapses.

Q:  Do you shoot sub-gauge events?
A:  No, but I'd like to eventually.

Q:  What is the one "gizmo" you find most useful when shooting?
A:  My Gracoil recoil reducer. It makes shooting much more enjoyable.  It also has an adjustable butt plate which helps in fitting the gun properly.

Q:  What advice would you give to someone just starting out?
A:  Develop and practice a smooth, repeatable gun mount.  Also, shoot with more experienced shooters whenever you can.
