2011 Shoot Promotions:

As a result of a very good 2010, we will have several shoot promotions throughout 2011.  The object of the promotions from the ASCA's perspective is three-fold.  We want to ...

1)  reward the shooters who support the sport,
2)  draw new shooter into the sport, and
3)  get shooters shooting at all of our clubs.

As promotions are added, the details will be posted on this page.  As you can see, there has never been a better time to get shooting!


Promotion #1 - The CopperZonaPear Promo:

Shoot the Main Event at each of the following 3 Shoots to be eligible to win a new Browning shotgun:

Shoot 1:  Copper State Open at Ben Avery Clay Target Center from Friday, January 21 through Sunday, January 23, 2011.  This will feature a 200 Registered Target Main Event on Saturday & Sunday.

Shoot 2:  Arizona Open at Coyote Springs Sporting Clays from Friday, February 4 through Sunday, February 6, 2011.  This will feature a 200 Registered Target Main Event on Saturday & Sunday.

Shoot 3:  Prickly Pear Open at Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club on Saturday, March 5, 2011.  This will feature a 100 Registered Target Main Event.

The prize was a new Browning Maxus Sporting Carbon Fiber valued at $1,420!  This is a 12ga, 3" chamber, auto-loading shotgun.  The winner chose a 30" barrel.  Specifics are below: 

• Receiver – Strong lightweight aluminum alloy; Two-toned silver/carbon fiber finish.
• Barrel – Lightweight profile; Matte carbon fiber finish; Flat tapered ventilated rib.
• Action – Gas-operated autoloader; 12 gauge 3" chamber; New Power Drive Gas System reduces recoil and cycles a wide range of loads.
• Stock – Composite stock and forearm with silver toned carbon fiber finish; Dura- Touch® Armor Coating; Close radius pistol grip; Speed Lock Forearm.

The door prize drawing was held during the lunch break between the Main Event and the Rio 50 at the Prickly Pear Open.

Promotion #2 - The Fourth Quarter Promo:

Shoot the Main Event at each of the following 3 Shoots to be eligible to win one of 7 new Browning pistols:

Shoot 1:  Hedge Hog Open at Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club on Saturday, October 15, 2011. This will feature a 100 Registered Target Main Event.

Shoot 2:  Fiocchi Cup at Ben Avery Clay Target Center from Friday, November 18 through Sunday, November 20, 2011.  This will feature a 200 Registered Target Main Event on Saturday & Sunday.

Shoot 3:  Southwestern & Junior Championships at Coyote Springs Sporting Clays from Thursday, December 1 through Sunday, December 4, 2011.  This will feature a 200 Registered Target Main Event on Saturday & Sunday.

The prizes will be 7 new Browning Buck Mark Camper pistols valued at $360 each!  This is a semi-automatic pistol with a 5.5" barrel., chambered in .22LR.  Specifics are below: 

• Receiver – Alloy, Matte blued finish.
• Barrel – Tapered bull 5½", Matte blued.
• Action – Blowback, Single-action trigger.
• Grips – Composite, Black.
• Features – Adjustable sights.

These pistols will be allocated as door prizes, one per class, M-E.

The drawing will be held during the awards ceremony at the Southwestern and Junior Championships on Sunday afternoon.

Promotion #3 - The Ironman Promo:

Shoot each of the three events in the Ironman Series to be eligible to win a new Browning shotgun:

Shoot 1:  Ironman I at Ben Avery Clay Target Center on Saturday, December 17, 2011 in the morning.  This will feature a 100 Registered Target Main Event.  This shoot will run in conjunction with Ironman II and Ironman III for trophies and promotional items.  This shoot will be a stand-alone event with regards to punches and points.

Shoot 2:  Ironman II at Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club on Saturday, December 17, 2011 in the afternoon.  This will feature a 100 Registered Target Main Event.  This shoot will run in conjunction with Ironman I and Ironman III for trophies and promotional items.  This shoot will be a stand-alone event with regards to punches and points.

Shoot 3:  Ironman III at Coyote Springs Sporting Clays on Sunday, December 18, 2011 in the morning.  This will feature a 100 Registered Target Main Event.  This shoot will run in conjunction with Ironman I and Ironman II for trophies and promotional items.  This shoot will be a stand-alone event with regards to punches and points.

There will be a new Browning Citori 625 Sporting with 32" barrel valued at $3,740!  This is a 12ga, 2 3/4" chamber, Over-Under shotgun.  Specifics are below: 

• Receiver – Steel; Silver nitride finish; High-relief engraving with gold embellishment.
• Barrel – Ventilated top and side rib; Tapered, floating top rib; Ported on 12 ga.
• Action – Single selective trigger; Hammer ejectors; Top-tang barrel selector/safety.
• Stock – Gloss oil finish Grade III/IV walnut stock with close radius pistol grip; Schnabel forearm.

Rules and Regulations: 
• This promotion is only open to Arizona Residents, based on NSCA membership roster and drivers license.  Must be present to win.  This promotion is also subject to the additional rules and regulations shown at the bottom of this page.


Additional Rules and Regulations Governing All 2011 ASCA Promotions:
• Must be present to win for all firearm door prizes.
• Only NSCA members will be eligible to win promotional prizes. Hunter class shooters will not be eligible to win promotional prizes.
• In the "must shot" clauses, exceptions will be made for the range workers. If they work an event as opposed to shooting it, but shoot the other required events, they will be eligible to win promotional prizes.
• Shooters are only eligible to win one firearm in 2011 as a door prize. Door prize winners will be eligible for raffle and silent auction items.
• Winner must be U.S. citizen, 21 years of age or older at the time of drawing. In the event a youth shooter wins a firearm drawing, their parent or legal guardian must be present to claim the prize. If the shooter's parent or legal guardian is not present or declines the prize, the ASCA will re-allocate the specific prize.
• Winner consents to the use of his/her name in advertising.
• Winner agrees to provide an image of themselves for our winner’s listing.
• No substitution of make, model or features of the firearm is allowed.
• All transfer fees, shipping, taxes and other expenses are the responsibility of the winner.
• No cash value, no returns and no refunds.
• Additional rules or regulations may be required, so the ASCA reserves the right to modify any and all aspects of the promotions and rules at any time.
• Program terms and conditions are subject to change. Program may terminate at any time.
